meta description

After reading a recent post I have got to the conclusion that I must do some tests regarding meta description. It seems that some SEO specialists have noticed that meta description is not a factor for a good page anymore. So, I will follow the suggestion of the specialist and run a test in the near future.

Have you tried something similar untill now ?

Please read it and you will understand that meta description is not important for SEO, if you consider an already established site. Its useful for getting your pages out of supplementals and to increase the click rate, but that is about all.

I totally agree .Meta tag has lost its importance in the recent times

It has importance, but not for SEO but more for SEM purposes, IMHO
